Micro-infrared Spectroscopy Analyzing Writings about Their Componential Identity from Thermosensitive Erasable Signing Pens

To explore the feasibility of identifying the writings with their componential identity from thermosensitive erasable signing pens using microscopic attenuated total internal reflectional Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (ATR-FTIR). With a collection of 49 kinds of thermosensitive erasable signing pens (from color- and batch-different products of 5 various brands) and 5 brand-discrepant common signing pens, the writings were tested from the collected pens via microscopic ATR-FTIR. At the same time, the influence of paper was investigated on the infrared spectrum of writing. All the 4

Rapid Determination of Fentanyl-kind Analogs and Their Mass Fragmentation Routes by High Resolution Mass Spectrometry

To develop an approach of coupling liquid chromatography with Q-Exactive high resolution mass spectrometry (HRMS) for determination of 25 fentanyl-kind analogs and 2 precursors so that both the fragmentation pathways and characteristic ions of such fentanyl-kind analogs were to analyze for providing a reference into the identification of suspected fentanyl-kind chemicals without standards, meanwhile presenting a foundation for new psychoactive substances to be supervised timely or as early as possible. The fentanyl-kind solid drugs were extracted with methanol under ultrasound, and those li

Terrestrial 3D Laser Scanning and Its Application for Survey and Reconstruction into Traffic Accident Scenes

Terrestrial 3D laser scanning (TLS) technology was here reviewed into its progressional development and application scenarios, with the relevant technical principles and operation procedures being briefly elucidated. Further, TLS technology was therewith divided into different applications so as for traffic accidents to be able to tackle adequately. Through the detailed looking-up about TLS latest researches and exampling implementations, an exploration was tried to carry out for traffic accidents to be surveyed and reconstructed under the on-going requirements, with the discussion being ma

Evaluation on Quality of Voices Recorded from Testing into Different Mobile Phones and Telecom Networks

To provide a theoretical basis for examination of mobile phone's recording quality that is important for correct opinion to deliver in the forensic voiceprint identification of voice samples from the ubiquitous mobile phone calls. A quantitative standard was proposed for evaluation of the recorded samples that were obtained from the tested mobile phones and generation-various telecom networks. The standard, rooting on the basis of mainstream identification equipment, was analyzed into the quantity and digital values of formant in voiceprint spectrogram, fundamental frequency parameters,

Influence of Placement Time on Identification of Combustion Residues of Alkyd Paint Thinners

To probe into the changes of characteristic components of combustion residues from alkyd paint thinners under different durations of placement. The alkyd paint thinner (X-6), selected as the research object, was imbibed into absorbent cottons (as the carrier) that were afterwards ignited and burnt for certain durations before extinguishment, having such resultant combustion residues left and stored for 0, 3, 5, 7 and 9 days, respectively. GC-MS was to analyze the variation of characteristic components of the combustion residues under different durations of storage. The original sampling alk
